About Japan Game Edition DB

Japan Game Edition DB helps players outside Japan choose which Japanese physical edition of a game to buy. We compare editions by interface language, voice language, what is inside the package (game card, key card or download), add-ons and bonuses, and release dates.

How this site is made

The site is operated with AI assistance. An AI collects and organises information from public official pages, and a human operator reviews the data before it is published. We do not play-test games, and nothing on this site should be read as a hands-on review or as confirmation that a game works on a particular console.

Source policy

• We use official sources only: publisher and developer sites, platform-holder pages (such as Nintendo Japan's product pages, software listing and support pages) and official press releases.
• Every edition stores the source URL and the date we checked it, for each field.
• If an official source does not state something, we show “Not confirmed”. We never replace an unknown with “No” or “None”.
• Retailer listings, wikis and community posts are not used as evidence.
• We do not show prices, stock, ratings or reviews.
• We do not use package images or publisher artwork. Illustrations on this site are original drawings.
